Output Type
|
Select whether each file should be Backed up to a compressed output file (ZIP) or
if the files should be left in their original state and simply copied to the backup
location. Zip output files are recommended.

Compression
|
If ‘ZIP’ is selected for the output type, you have the option to select from either
high, medium or low compression.
|
|
Encryption Level
|
If ‘ZIP’ is selected for the output type, you have the option to encrypt and password
protect the backup file. Caution: If
you choose to encrypt the backup and cannot remember the password, there is no way
to retrieve the data.

|
Password
|
Specify a password that must be entered to open the backup file when encryption
is enabled.
|
|
Process Type
|
Select whether an existing backup job will be overwritten by a job of the same name,
or updated with the data contained in the new backup job.
|
|
Verification Mode
|
Setting the Verification to all files will examine the backup set bit by bit to
ensure that the data was copied without corruption.
|
|
Status
|
Specify whether the backup job will be active or inactive. Active jobs will run
during their normally scheduled times. Inactive jobs will not run.
|
|
Purge Rule
|
Specify how long backup sets will be kept before being deleted.

|
If you need to make changes to the previous menu settings, click ‘Previous’.

When satisfied with initial backup settings, click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next
