New Backup
|
Select this option to create a new file Backup job.
|

Edit Existing Backup
|
Select this option to edit an existing file Backup job. When selected, pick the
desired backup job from the drop down menu below.

Copy settings from existing job
|
Allows the user to create a new backup based on the settings for an existing backup job.
|
|
Delete Job
|
Deletes the job specified in the “Select Backup Job” drop down menu.
|
|
Backup Job Name
|
This is the display name for the backup job. This should be brief and descriptive
of the type of job, ‘My Documents Full Nightly Backup” for example, and must be
unique.

Backup Job Description
|
This is the more detailed description of the Backup job and should contain enough
detail to remind you what the job does if you forget what the display name means.
For example, ‘Backup of the ‘My Documents’ folder to the ‘backup’ folder on the
external hard drive that happens at 2 AM every night’.

|
Backup Type
|
This is the type of backup operation that will occur and can be one of three options;
‘Full’ – takes a copy of all the files in the location you specify, ‘Differential’
– takes a copy of all the files that have changed since the last ‘Full’ backup ‘Incremental’
– takes a copy of the files that have changed since the last backup of any type.
