Select items to backup
|
The treeview on the left allows the user to select the most commonly used folders or to
open the available drives to select a specific file or path.
NOTE: When selecting a folder, a "full" check in the checkbox (a check with a white background)
indicates that all files or folders, including those added after the backup is created will be backed up.
A "partial" check in the checkbox (a check with a gray background) indicates that only those files or folders
specifically selected will be backed up. Files or folders added to this folder later will not be backed up.

Estimated Number of Files
|
As you select folders to backup, the system displays the current number of files
contained in the folders selected to be backed up.

Estimated Total File Size
|
As you select folders to backup, the system displays the current total size of the
files contained in the folders selected to be backed up.

Jump to
|
Selecting options in this menu will display and make available for quick selection,
commonly backed up file locations such as the ‘My Documents’ folder.

System State |
Backing up the ‘System State’ allows you to take a snapshot of the operating system
configuration. |
|
Refresh Directory Viewer
|
This will update the directory viewer with any folders that have been added since
the wizard was started. Caution, clicking
this will deselect any directories you have already selected. No other settings
will be changed.

"Help me with this" link
|
Opens online help guide in an internet browser. Clicking on the link will open this page.

Previous
|
If you need to make changes to the previous menu settings, click ‘Previous’.
|

Next
|
When satisfied with initial backup settings, click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next
step. Don’t worry, you can always come right back by clicking ‘Previous’.
