Allow Incoming Transfers

Select this option to allow files from your other computers running ION^™ backup to be transferred to this computer

Port

Specify the IP Port that will be used to receive incoming transferred data

Receive Path

Specify the location on this computer where the transferred files will be stored

Naming Convention

Specify the method for naming the transferred data set. The filename will be a combination of several elements including ‘Job Name’ and time and date of job completion. For example, specifying the naming convention “[Job Name] – MMM_dd_yyyy @ hh_mm_ss AMPM” will create a data set whose name is composed of the job name and the date and time when the transfer occurred.

Purge Rule

Specify how long backup sets will be kept before being deleted.

Allocated Disk Space

Specify how much space should be made available for transferred data sets.

Used Space

Displays how much of the allocated space is being used by existing transferred data sets.

Free Space

Displays how much of the allocated space is free to store new transferred data sets

Total Disk Space

Displays the total size of the drive selected as the transfer destination

Total Free Space

Displays the total space not already being used on the drive selected as the transfer destination
