Universe Point Backup Settings Tab

Specify any command line arguments that you require to be run before or after the backup job is launched. This is an advanced function and is typically used by system administrators to stop and restart key services before and after data in their system is backed up.

Add, edit or delete commands using the buttons on the right-side of the screen.

Screen Elements
Command:	Specify the command to run (e.g. write.exe or cmd.exe)
Arguments:	Specify the arguments for the command(e.g. -t or -a 'file.txt')
Working Path:	Specify the path for the Command (e.g. C:\)
Timeout:	Specify the time (in seconds) at which ION will stop trying to run the command. In case there is a problem running the command, you should set a timeout of 4 or 5. A Timeout of -1 indicates an infinite amount of time.
Type:	Either Pre or Post. Pre-Commands are run prior to the backup job. Post-commands will be run after the backup job.
Test	Use the Test button to try this command now.
