Output files as:

Select whether each file should be Backed up to a compressed output file (ZIP) or if the files should be left in their original state and simply copied to the backup location.

Compression

If ‘ZIP’ is selected for the output type, you have the option to select from either Best, Normal or Fast compression. 'Best' compression will slow your backup operation.

Encryption

If ‘ZIP’ is selected for the output type, you have the option to encrypt and password protect the backup file. AES Encryption requires restore through ION or with a purchased license of WinZIP.

Caution: If you choose to encrypt the backup and cannot remember the password, there is no way to retrieve the password or the data.

Password

Specify a password that must be entered to open the backup file when encryption is enabled.
