ION Version 2.5 provides several major enhancements
over previous versions that were created as a result of specific requests from partners and customers.
ION provides the ability to send your data to the location of your choosing. The new ION Data Center version allows users to backup data to their local IT provider, while Universe Point Partners can now receive data directly from their customers.
The ION Monitoring and Notification services have been greatly enhanced to enable you to manage your backups with ease. Along with the Web Dashboard, end-users and partners can review backups and monitor for errors without ever having to log onto a computer or server.
Once you have registered your ION installation, you should see the Welcome Screen.
